Located at the base of Whiteface Mountain and on the banks of the Ausable River, North Pole Resorts offers boat/canoe rentals, 2 swimming pools, 2 unique playgrounds, 2 game rooms, laundry facilities, a convenience store, an 18 hole Mini Golf, and private hiking & biking trails that connect with state trails. There is a Group Hall with kitchen facilities for reunions and meetings. There is also high speed internet access available on all sites with hookups ($) and free wireless internet for Inn & cottage guests. Plus, new this year is a free WIFI Hot Spot.
Summertime game rooms are popular with families, as is the sparkling clean reputation of the property. North Pole Resorts is the HIGHEST rated campground in the Adirondack Park, and the closest campground to the free public beach and Santa Claus at the North Pole (Santa's Workshop).
For our winter guests, North Pole Resorts has a newly renovated 20 unit inn as well as cottages with kitchens and fireplaces. The resort offers on site x-country skiing and snow shoeing. For the alpine skier, we are located near the Whiteface Mountain Ski Center. Whiteface Mt. offers trails from beginner to expert with the greatest vertical drop in the east. The high speed Cloud Splitter gondola whisks skiers as well as Passengers to the summit of Little Whiteface, offering spectacular views of the surrounding area. Be sure to inquire about our ski packages. We are now offering a complimentary continental breakfast on Saturday, Sunday and holiday periods during the winter.
